So, this spring and summer I'm going to be living on a very tight budget. Guess what? Living on a tight budget really stinks. I wanted to buy a new pair of jeans, but I remembered I was on a budget. I really want that new-to-me desk, and Saturday I was prepared to go out and find it. But then I remembered I was on a budget. I wanted to get another David Arkenstone CD, but then I remembered I was on a budget.
But honestly, don't you have to splurge once in a while?
Or I could just shut up and and think, I'm mostly living within my means and be satisfied. (After all, that's what I've done most of my life.)
That said, I have a feeling I won't be sorry about those sheers simply because they're pretty, they were such a good deal, and the sheers hanging from the window are really old and nearly in tatters. (Thank you, cats.)
So, what have you splurged on recently?

Not exactly recently (think just after last Thanksgiving), but I bought myself a new desktop computer w/1TB hard drive & 8MG RAM. Got a grrrreat deal on it & got a 22" monitor to go with it (also a super deal). *sigh* That means I have to cut back on Nook books & eating out (even at the diner). But I wouldn't trade the new computer in AT ALL!
Oops, forgot to say the curtains look fantastic!!
I've been wanting this travel bag and it was on sale and I really didn't need it but I wanted it so guess what? I got it and it's traveling with me soon.
I WILL be splurging on a gift card to a friend who has been a BLESSING, helping me get my act, and my resume together, to hopefully make short-term goals come true. I've restricted my budget on MYSELF considerably lately, but wanted to do something nice for her:)It was a splurge, AND an investment. I like dual-purpose purchases! Maximizes my budget!
Oh! I did buy really good sunscreen at Nordstroms, too.Heehee.
